Nigel joined Salita Portfolio Services in 2025 as Independent Chair of the Investment Committee for Managed Accounts and SMAs. With more than 30 years’ experience, he has held leadership roles at Merrill Lynch (Chief Economist), Van Eyk (Head of Research), and Perpetual (Head of Private Wealth Research), and was CEO of Douglas Funds Consulting.
Possessing a deep expertise in macroeconomics, asset allocation, and investment governance, Nigel brings independent oversight and accountability to Salita’s portfolio services. He holds a Master of Applied Finance from Macquarie University and a Master of Commerce (Business and Government) from the University of Sydney.
